Area Head – Woodworking

Area Heads are in charge of overseeing the activities in their area, making sure it is safe, fun, and a space where guests can develop their skills! They lead and support their instructor in woodworking, handling training, coaching, and providing feedback. They are responsible for managing all equipment for their area, writing and updating lesson plans, dealing with guest issues, and of course providing top notch customer service. A day in the life looks like running activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm, with daily team meetings and setup/cleanup at the start and end of each day. Woodworking projects may include creating small projects such as bird houses, mini paddles and phone holders. Heads up: Area Heads will be responsible for helping lead and execute our weekend stayover program. This will include overseeing instructors at activities, work projects and helping to lead evening program. Area Heads will also be assigned to be a Transportation Bus Captain at least once throughout the summer. read more

Instructor Creative Arts & Media

Creative Arts & Media Instructors are responsible for leading fun and safe activities that help our guests learn new skills, make friends, and have an awesome time! Instructor General

General Instructors are responsible for leading fun and safe activities that help our guests learn new skills, make friends, and have an awesome time! General instructors are required to rotate instructing between ball hockey, basketball, beach volleyball, flag rugby, soccer, drift trikes, fitness, outdoor adventure, and golf. Instructor Host – Timbergrove Lodge

Timbergrove Lodge has the privilege of hosting our partner groups, supported by the Muskoka Woods Youth Foundation, throughout the summer. TGL Host Instructors are responsible for leading fun and safe activities that help our Timbergrove Lodge guests learn new skills, grow friendships, and have an awesome time! They bring energy and enthusiasm to the daily routine, making sure everyone has a blast while learning something new. TGL Hosts are key to making the experience unforgettable. They journey with the group all week, fostering safety, leading activities, joining in on events, building friendships and capturing stories. Heads up: TGL Host Instructors join in on the fun during the TGL evening program once per week! It’s a great opportunity to hang out, participate in the Crew or Senior High Program, relax by the campfire, or get into a lively game of volleyball or basketball. read more

They are in charge of running the Kraken Waterslide during shifts between 9am and 7pm, bringing tons of energy and top-notch instruction to each lesson. Lifeguards are responsible for supervising the swim beach, creating a safe and fun environment that help our guests learn new skills, make friends, and have an awesome time!
