Kitchen – Dish Crew Supervisor

The primary role of the Dish Crew Supervisor within this department is to create a fun and productive environment for the Dish Crew and manage all outcomes related to cleaning dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen equipment. All Dish Crew are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen through sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, wiping down of surfaces, cleaning the dishwasher and sanitizing work stations. A typical shift for the Dish Supervisor is varied throughout the week (6:30am - 2:30pm, 11:30am - 7:30pm, 6:30am - 10:30am/4pm - 7:30pm). read more

Kitchen – Service Supervisor

The primary role of the Kitchen Service Supervisor within this department is to assist the Dining Hall Manager in all things related to leading staff, managing outcomes and serving guests. The Kitchen Service Supervisor oversees the the Kitchen Service staff and are responsible to create a fun and productive team environment for our young staff while providing a quality and customer friendly dining experience for all staff and guests. All Kitchen staff are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining hall areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, wiping down of surfaces, sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. A typical shift for the Kitchen Supervisor is varied throughout the week (6am - 2:30pm, 11am - 7:30pm, 6am - 10:30am/4pm - 7:30pm). read more

Counsellor – CEO

The CEO Counsellor's primary responsibiltiy within this department is to journey alongside the guests as they walk through and experience our 4 week long CEO leadership program. Counsellors live in the CEO Lodge with the guests, eat all meals with the group and are also responsible for meeting with their guests one to one, planning and participating in evening programs, and facilitating small group Convo Cafe conversations. In this role you would spend a larger amount of time with your guests than any other counselling role at MW as you journey with the guests over the course of the program. read more

Counsellor – Senior High

A Senior High Counsellor’s primary responsibility within this department is the safety of our guests ages 14 to 16 years old. Counsellors also provide a caring and supportive cabin environment to learn, reflect, make new friends and of course have FUN! Counsellors stay in cabins with the guests, eat all meals with their cabin group, participate in evening programs as well as facilitate small group Convo Cafe conversations with the guests in their cabin. Each Senior High Counsellor is also expected to help instruct in 1 to 2 hours of assigned Arts & Athletics activities per day. read more

Guest Communicator – Convo Cafe/Impact

Convo Cafe and Impact are a special part of each night at Muskoka Woods for our Junior High (11 to 13 year old) and Senior High (14 to 16 year old) guests. During this time, staff and guests share on topics including Christian values, character and personal beliefs. These sessions create a safe space for listening, laughing and learning about values and morals through Bible stories and other creative ways. We encourage young people to think in new ways. Whatever the occasion, our conversations are age appropriate and respectful of all religions and beliefs. The Convo Cafe/Impact Guest Communicator's primary responsibility will be to deliver content at daily Conversation Cafe (Exploring Life and Diving Deeper) sessions as well as speak at Impact once throughout the summer (large group multi-media experience). Guest Communicators are also required to assist in Super Saturday and drive for hospital runs and are assigned 6 to 8 One 2 One's. read more

Guest Communicator – Cabin Chat/Spark

Cabin Chat and Spark are a special part of each night at Muskoka Woods for our WILD (6 to 8 year old) and Venture (9 to 10 year old) guests. During this time, staff and guests share on topics including Christian values, character and personal beliefs. These sessions create a safe space for listening, laughing and learning about values and morals through Bible stories. We encourage young people to think in new ways. Whatever the occasion, our conversations are age appropriate and respectful of all religions and beliefs. The Cabin Chat/Spark Guest Communicators primary responsibility is to deliver content at Spark (a weekly large group multi-media experience) and daily Cabin Chats with WILD and Venture. Guest Communicators are also required to assist in Super Saturday and drive for hospital runs and area assigned 6 to 8 One 2 One's. read more

Producer – Large Group Experiences

Cabin Chat and Conversation Cafe are a special part of each night at Muskoka Woods, with WILD and Venture guests participating in Cabin Chat and Junior High and Senior High guests in Conversation Cafe. During this time, staff and guests share on topics including Christian values, character and personal beliefs. These sessions create a safe space for listening, laughing and learning about values and morals through Bible stories and in other creative ways. We encourage young people to think in new ways. Whatever the occasion, our conversations are age appropriate and respectful of all religions and beliefs. The Producer of Large Group Experiences' primary responsibility is to provide quality and creative ministry programming for our guests. This happens through: planning an "order of service", rehearsing, programming, as well as coordinating audio, visual, lighting and set preparations for the guest ministry initiatives.  The Producer will provide leadership to the Guest Communicators through training, coaching and support in their communication skills and delivery of content and curriculum.  They will work in coordination with the Production Manager and their team to ensure a seamless delivery of content at the large group experiences. The large group experiences include: Spark, Impact, Cadence, Convo Cafe, Cabin Chat and the Opening Day Show. Producers are also required to assist in Super Saturday and are assigned 4 to 6 One 2 One's. read more
