Staff Coach – HR Assistant

Muskoka Woods believes that pouring into our staff and providing wholistic care for each person will result in an overflow of safety and care for our guests. To make that a reality, Muskoka Woods hires a team of Staff Coaches that are responsible to lead community initiatives, champion our BELLS and come along side staff as needed. The primary role of the Staff Coach Worship Coordinator is to coordinate worship for events such as Cadence, Soul House and Soul Food. Staff Coaches are also responsible to support our community through leading large and small group events, conducting one to one’s, and supporting the overall staff team where necessary and bring insight to the overall well being of our community and staff. All Staff Coaches are required to attend team meetings, lead small groups, attend Soul House, support Cadence, drive for hospital runs, and conduct One to Ones. Leadership staff are regularly assigned to the Night Watch schedule, the Dining Room Maitre'd schedule, to Super Saturday duties. read more

Market Research Analyst

The primary role of the Guest Relations Assistant within this department is to provide excellent customer service to our guests and parents for a seamless experience before, during, and after their child's week at camp. The GRA will manage guest information and registration details including: activity schedules, payments, medical information, transportation and store account, and will be responsible for responding to incoming customer inquires over phone, email and live chat. In addition, this role is responsible for preparing and distributing summer reports to various departments. GRA’s track all customer interactions in our CRM database called Circuitree. read more

Area Head – Waterfront Activities

The Area Head’s primary responsibility within this department is to create, oversee and execute activities for their assigned area(s) that are safe, fun, developmentally focused and age-appropriate. The Racket Sports Area Head's assigned areas are as follows: Tennis, Pickleball, and Badminton. Area Heads provide leadership to the instructors in their area(s) including training, coaching and performance review. Area Heads are responsible to assist with equipment and facilities management, guest issues, and provide great customer service. A typical day within the Arts and Athletics department is to oversee activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. Daily meetings with your team as well as set up and clean up are required at the beginning and end of each day. read more

Section Head – WILD

The WILD Program Director’s primary responsibility within is this department is to oversee the design and delivery of all evening programs for kids ages 6 to 8 years old. The WILD Program Director champions our Customer Service standards of Safety, Detail, Sizzle and Development as well as provides leadership to the Section Head and counsellors including training, coaching and performance review. Program Directors are responsible for all guest issues and liaise with parents when needed. Program Directors lead and participate in daily and weekly meetings and support the team as required. read more

Photographer

The primary role of the Photographer within this department is to journey with the guests each week to capture defining moments and highlighting activities, fun and memories. The Photographer is required to upload photos to our photosharing platform on a daily basis. A typical schedule for the Photographer is varied throughout the week depending on the photography needs of each day and week that includes day time and evening work. read more

Videographer

The primary role of the Videographer is to plan, video and edit videos developed for Cadence, Spark, Impact and Conversation Cafe and other special projects. The primary role of the Video Coordinator is to oversee, produce and approve all videos developed for Cadence, Spark, Impact and Conversation Cafe and other special projects. Production Crew – Operations

The primary role of the The Production Crew within this department is to assist in providing quality and creative programming by delivering a professional and seamless experience through audio, visual, lighting and set preparations. The Production Crew supports all production needs for Super Saturday, Cadence, Impact, Spark, evening activities, Cabin Chat, Conversation Cafe and other events as required. Production Operations staff are responsible to support all audio, visual, lighting and set up needs of their assigned section including moving, lifting, set up and take down of staging (stages, tarps, tables, tents etc.) and equipment. (speakers, microphones, lights etc.) A typical schedule in Production is varied throughout the week depending on the program needs of each day and week that includes daytime and evening work. read more

Security

The primary role of the Security staff within this department is to monitor the premises and ensure a safe a secure facility from early evening until early morning. Security staff ensures that all staff and guests adhere to outlined camp curfews through patrolling the campus, monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees and visitors throughout the evening. Security are also required to write reports and daily activities, irregularities, or unusual occurrences including reporting on staff and guests not abiding by resort rules. Security Staff also are also assigned to Super Saturday duties, hospital runs and support the overall summer team as needed. read more
