Intentional Staff Development and Community Life
Summer Camp staff will complete online training and participate in a week long Staff Development Week at the beginning of each summer to be fully equipped to serve our guests. Leadership staff arrive at camp 3 weeks prior to summer camp for intentional leadership development to prepare you for leading well. All staff are also paired with another, more experienced staff member you’ll meet regularly to discuss work, life and whatever else is helpful to your stage of life.

You will have access to community life events, camp facilities, a staff gym, and many fun activities. Muskoka Woods also offers a variety of mental health supports including Mind Up Training and free one to one professional counselling. A weekly church service and small groups are all a part of how we support and invest in our staff’s faith journeys.

Build Your Network to Help You Further Your Career
If you speak to a Muskoka Woods alumni about the network they built while on staff here, you’ll hear stories about being in each other’s weddings, being introduced to a great job and meeting people who became their life-long friends.
