Health Care Centre Crew

The Health Care Centre Crew is a part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals consisting of the Healthcare Centre Manager, Director, a physician, and two registered nurses. Under the supervision and guidance of the HCC Manager and Director, the Health Care Centre Crew provides emergency and daily health care to our staff and guests through scheduled clinics, on call support, and emergency response. They are responsible for handling triage and charting, assessments, administering medications, and keeping equipment clean and sterilized. Periodically, they will do night calls with a partner and will always work collaboratively with two registered nurses as well as assist the presiding MD as required. read more

The Health Care Centre Driver becomes part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals consisting of the Healthcare Centre Manager, Director, a physician, and two registered nurses. Nanny

Nannies provide childcare and assistance to families on camp property during the summer. Their main job is to serve as a loving, nurturing, and trustworthy companion and caregiver to the kids. They supervise, play and engage with children of their assigned family, ages ranging from newborns to 13 years old. Each family will have their own specific responsibilities and schedules. read more

Security

Security staff play a key role in keeping our camp safe and secure from early evening to early morning. Security ensures that all staff and guests stick to camp curfews by patrolling the area as well as monitoring and authorizing the entrance and departure of employees and visitors through the evening. They are required to write up reports on daily activities, any irregularities, or unusual happenings, including when staff or guests don't follow camp rules. Security staff will also be part of the Maitre'd schedule, assist with 2-3 shifts at the Kraken per week, and help with opening day responsibilities including wristband scanning. read more

Kitchen – Prep/Line Cook

Bakers work alongside our full-time Baker to prepare baked goods, desserts and evening snacks. Tasks will include preparing and baking brownies, cookies, cakes, cheesecakes and apple crumble, icing cupcakes, cutting rice krispies squares, panning croissants, danishes and cinnamon buns. Bakers help keep the kitchen sparkling by sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, washing dishes, and sanitizing work areas. An apron will be provided for each shift. A typical shift for the Bakers is 5:00am - 1:00pm or 6:00am - 2:00pm. read more

Kitchen Service Supervisor

The role of Kitchen Service Supervisor is to support the Dining Hall Manager with everything from leading our kitchen crew to ensuring our guests have a great dining experience. They are in charge of creating a fun and efficient work environment, keeping things lively and productive for our young staff, and making sure both our kitchen and dining areas are spotless. Supervisors work alongside their staff participating in tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out the trash, wiping surfaces, sanitizing stations, and washing dishes. Don’t worry—the aprons are on us! They provide support for their team of kitchen staff and are responsible for evaluations. Shifts will vary throughout the week with some early mornings and late evenings (example: Breakfast/Lunch (6:00am - 2:30pm), Lunch/Dinner (11:00am - 7:30pm), or Breakfast/Dinner (6:00am - 10:30am & 4:00pm - 7:30pm). read more

The Grounds Crew Supervisor is responsible for creating a fun and productive work environment for our Grounds Crew team while maintaining all accommodations, meeting areas, public spaces, and grounds. They take care of mowing and trimming grass, sweeping, picking up trash, moving firewood, and help out the full-time maintenance team when needed. Shifts will change throughout the week, with hours from 7:00am - 3:00pm. Heads up: you’ll need to bring your own steel-toed shoes for safety. read more

Daily tasks will include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and giving windows, showers, sinks, and toilets a good clean. Shifts vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the department. read more

Camp Store Staff

The Camp Store staff's main job is to deliver amazing customer service and hospitality to everyone who walks through the door, both staff and guests! With shifts in both the Camp Store and the Coffee Can, they are responsible for receiving and stocking inventory, working the register, and whipping up ice cream and coffee. They keep the store and work areas clean and organized, handling garbage disposal too. Shifts vary throughout the week and hours can look like: 8:00am - 4:00pm and 12:00pm - 8:00pm. read more
