Health Care Centre Crew
The Health Care Centre Crew is a part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals consisting of the Healthcare Centre Manager, Director, a physician, and two registered nurses. Under the supervision and guidance of the HCC Manager and Director, the Health Care Centre Crew provides emergency and daily health care to our staff and guests through scheduled clinics, on call support, and emergency response. They are responsible for handling triage and charting, assessments, administering medications, and keeping equipment clean and sterilized. Periodically, they will do night calls with a partner and will always work collaboratively with two registered nurses as well as assist the presiding MD as required. read more
Security
Security staff play a key role in keeping our camp safe and secure from early evening to early morning. Security ensures that all staff and guests stick to camp curfews by patrolling the area as well as monitoring and authorizing the entrance and departure of employees and visitors through the evening. They are required to write up reports on daily activities, any irregularities, or unusual happenings, including when staff or guests don't follow camp rules. Security staff will also be part of the Maitre'd schedule, assist with 2-3 shifts at the Kraken per week, and help with opening day responsibilities including wristband scanning. read more
Housekeeping Staff
Housekeeping Staff are in charge of keeping things clean and welcoming for everyone, staff and guests alike! They help tidy up meeting areas, public spaces, and restrooms. Daily tasks will include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and giving windows, showers, sinks, and toilets a good clean. Shifts vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the department. read more
Kitchen – Food Prep
The Food Prep team works alongside our Cooks to prepare all meals, including our yogurt and salad buffets. Tasks will include everything from receiving inventory and chopping veggies to panning food, slicing deli meats, wrapping sandwiches, and even some deep-frying and grilling! Food Prep staff help keep the kitchen sparkling by sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, washing dishes, and sanitizing work areas. A chef's jacket or apron will be provided for each shift. Shifts can vary throughout the week: Breakfast/Lunch from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Lunch/Dinner from 11:00am to 7:30pm, or a mix of Breakfast/Dinner from 6:00am to 10:30am and 4:00pm to 7:30pm. read more
Kitchen – Service
Kitchen Service staff are in charge of setting up and managing the hot and cold buffets, juice machines, and coffee stations in each dining area. They also are responsible for washing dishes and keeping the dining room tidy and customer ready. That means sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out the trash, wiping down surfaces and sanitizing food prep areas. Don’t worry—aprons are provided for your shifts! Shifts can vary throughout the week, so flexibility is key: Breakfast/Lunch (6:00am - 2:30pm), Lunch/Dinner (11:00am - 7:30pm), or Breakfast/Dinner (6:00am - 10:30am & 4:00pm - 7:30pm). read more
Volunteer Positions
The primary role of a volunteer at Muskoka Woods is to support the camp where needed on a week to week basis. Volunteers add a burst of energy and encouragement to their assigned area and are greatly appreciated as we serve our summer guests! Volunteers, most often, will fill a specific need that we have during their assigned week. read more
Fall 2026 – Activity Instructor
Activity Instructors are responsible for leading guests in a range of awesome sports, adventure activities, arts, nature explorations, and team-building programs. They are trained in up to 25 different activities which they instruct to our guests at Muskoka Woods. A day in the life looks like running activities and programs for groups of 10 to 20 kids at a time. They will often travel with an assigned group, or specialize in one area based on the group's needs. Work hours are typically from 8am to 5pm with 1 to 2 evening shifts each week to help run evening programs, serve snack, cover the office, assist in the Camp Store, help out with dish shifts and do occasional work projects to keep everything running smoothly! read more
Fall 2026 – Production Operations
Production Staff work alongside the Production Coordinator and Production Leadership to deliver excellent production services for our guests. They support all audio, visual, lighting, and set-up needs to make every event shine. They are responsible for moving and lifting equipment, handling the set-up and takedown of staging (stages, tarps, tables, tents, etc.) and gear (speakers, microphones, lights). A typical schedule will include a mix of daytime and evening shifts depending on our guests' needs, so flexibility is key! read more

Kitchen Service Staff are essential in setting up and managing all hot and cold buffets, juice machines, and coffee stations in the dining areas. They help with washing and putting away dishes, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out the trash, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing workstations to keep the kitchen and dining halls clean and organized. Shifts will vary throughout the week, typically ranging from early mornings to evenings (like 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 6:00am - 10:30am/4pm - 7:30pm). They will also be required to work all three Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner shifts one day a week. read more
