Fall 2024 – Prep Cook

The primary role of a Prep Cook within this department is to work alongside the Cooks in the daily preparation of all meals including preparing the yogurt and salad buffets. Tasks include but are not limited to: receiving inventory, chopping vegetables, panning food, slicing lunch meat, wrapping sandwichs, deep frying, grilling and BBQ'ing. All Prep Cooks are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen through sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, washing dishes, wiping down of surfaces, and sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. Winter/Spring 2025 – Kitchen Service

The primary role of the Kitchen Service Staff within this department is to set up and manage the cold and hot buffets, juice machines, and coffee stations in each dining room. All Service Crew are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining hall areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, wiping down of surfaces, sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. Winter/Spring 2025 – Nanny

The Nanny's primary role within this department is to be a childcare giver and family manager for families who require assistance. The nanny’s role is to provide support to the family by serving as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion and caregiver to the children. Nannies are required to supervise, play, interact, and care for the children of their assigned families. Children range in age from newborn to 13 years of age. Winter/Spring 2025 – Activity Instructor

The primary role of a Host Instructor is to instruct guests in a variety of sports, adventure activities, arts, nature and team-building programs. Staff are trained in program delivery for up to 25 different activities and are required to run activities for groups of 10 to 20 children at a time. Host instructors often travel around with their assigned group of guests but can also be assigned to specialize in one area depending on the needs of the group. A typical schedule for Host Instructors is from 8am to 5pm daily with 1 to 2 evening shifts/week as a team to provide evening program, serve snack, cover the office and work in the Camp Store. read more

Winter/Spring 2025 – Production Staff

The primary role of the Production Staff within this department is to work alongside the Production Coordinator/Production CORE and provide our guests with creative and professional production services and support all audio, visual, lighting and set up needs including moving, lifting, set up and take down of staging (stages, tarps, tables, tents etc.) and equipment. (speakers, microphones, lights etc.) Weekly schedule requires day and evening work and schedule varies depending on our guest needs. read more

Counsellor – CREW – Boys Cabin

A CREW Counsellor’s primary responsibility within this department is the safety of our guests ages 15 - 16 years old. Counsellors also provide a caring and supportive cabin environment to learn, reflect, make new friends and of course have FUN! Counsellors stay in cabins with the guests, eat all meals with their cabin group, participate in evening programs as well as facilitate small group Convo Cafe conversations with the guests in their cabin. Counsellors are also required to instruct a skill area for 1 period per day - this is called Switch Em Up. Important Note - Counsellors may be moved to other age sections throughout the summer due to customer demand. This will be determined week to week and is up to the discretion of the Manager of Summer Programs. read more

Instructor General – August Only

The General Instructor’s primary responsibility within this department is to provide activity instruction while creating a safe environment for our guests to learn and develop new skills, make new friends and have fun! Instructors are responsible to implement daily lesson plans in their assigned areas, instructors are required to rotate between: ball hockey, basketball, beach volleyball, flag rugby, soccer, drift trikes, fitness, outdoor adventure, and laser tag. A typical day for an instructor is to oversee activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. Daily team meetings and set up and clean up are required at the beginning and end of each day. Instructors will help operate the Stayover Program for guests staying multiple weeks by leading and staying in a guest cabin, running activities and will be assigned to a cleaning team. Instructors are also responsible to assist in evening programs where assigned and participate in assigned duties on Sunday Arrival. read more
