Mission Statement

Muskoka Woods is a Christian youth development organization that welcomes everyone to an experience for a lifetime. Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau, we specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages. We exist to inspire youth to shape their world.

Each season begins with staff training which allows coaching in every position. Muskoka Woods has a core value of Intentional Growth, which carries from the Senior Leadership Team to each of our staff. As you guide our guests through their own life-changing experiences, you will  gain customer service and team building experience in a Christian community that promotes personal and professional development.

Some Muskoka Woods employees come for a season and have ended up staying more than 30 years while others complete their seasonal contract and go on to travel, work or school. Our Christian community includes a one-to-one mentor who is there to check in on your personal experience. Working at Muskoka Woods gives you a common bond with the thousands of staff that have worked here in our more than 40 years.

It’s hard to argue with the location. Over 1,000 acres of trees, rolling hills, a beautiful lake accented with buildings designed to fit appropriately into their surrounding landscape. It hardly feels like work when all around is the natural splendor only found in Muskoka.
