Food Services Manager


The Manager of Food Service is responsible for assuring attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient food service to all staff and guests groups while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead costs. This position is responsible for directing and organizing the activities of the Baking, Culinary and Food Service Team to ensure a consistently high-quality food product while at the same time developing his/her team and driving a positive work environment. The Food Services Manager is charged with consistently improving guest and employee satisfaction.

2023-2024 Camp Store CORE


The primary role The Camp Store CORE, along side our full-time Camp Store Manager, is to provide excellent customer service to our staff and guests that includes training program staff, supervising shifts, reconciling tills, receiving and managing inventory, as well as daily cleaning and organizing of the store. The Camp Store CORE moves into a supervisory position in the summer that includes training, coaching and performance review of our young seasonal staff. Camp Store CORE also sit on the larger CORE team that champions our BELLS and leads community life here at Muskoka Woods. The CORE team are responsible to plan and participate in social events and community initiatives, come along side staff when needed in work and life, and are responsible to contribute to the overall training of staff in our Staff Development Weeks that are held throughout the year. CORE staff are also required to lead a staff small group and conduct One to Ones.

Fall – 2023 Instructor


The primary role of an Instructor is to instruct guests in a variety of sports, high ropes activities, adventure activities, arts, nature and team-building programs. Staff are trained in program delivery for up to 25 different activities and are required to run activities for groups of 10 to 20 children at a time.

Fall 2023 Kitchen Service Staff


The primary role of the Kitchen Service Staff within this department is to set up and manage the cold and hot buffets, juice machines, and coffee stations in each dining room as well as assisting with the washing and putting away of dishes. All Service Crew are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining hall areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, wiping down of surfaces, sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. A typical shift for Service Staff is varied throughout the week (6:00am – 2:30pm, 11:00am – 7:30pm, 6:00am – 10:30am/4pm – 7:30pm)


Fall 2023 Prep Cook


The primary role of a Prep Cook within this department is to work alongside the Cooks in the daily preparation of all meals including preparing the yogurt and salad buffets. Tasks include but are not limited to: receiving inventory, chopping vegetables, panning food, slicing lunch meat, wrapping sandwichs, deep frying, grilling and BBQ’ing. All Prep Cooks are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen through sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, washing dishes, wiping down of surfaces, and sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. A typical shift for the Prep Cook is varied throughout the week (6:00am – 2:30pm, 11:00am – 7:30pm, 6:00am – 10:30am/4pm – 7:30pm)
