Winter/Spring – 2025 – Studio Host

From September to June, the Schools & Groups program and the Leadership Studio provide life-changing experiences for youth and adults. Throughout the year Muskoka Woods serves more than 25,000 students in grades 6 to 12, from numerous corporate and church groups. The primary role of the Studio Host is to support our full-time Leadership Studio staff in leading and facilitating activities and providing program for our guests. Hosts are responsible to create and maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere in the Studio and provide excellent customer service to all guests. Studio Hosts regularly provide hospitality services in the Studio including food service, cleaning, dishwashing and firewood management. **Please note: All positions are required to work in other areas including program, kitchen, housekeeping, groundskeeping, snow removal and office coverage. Staff are required to attend all meetings as outlined during staff training including Cadence and Small Group. read more

Spring 2025 – Activity Instructor

The primary role of an Activity Instructor is to instruct guests in a variety of sports, adventure activities, arts, nature and team-building programs. Staff are trained in program delivery for up to 25 different activities and are required to run activities for groups of 10 to 20 children at a time. read more

Kitchen Service Staff are essential in setting up and managing all hot and cold buffets, juice machines, and coffee stations in the dining areas. read more

Muskoka Woods Mission

Muskoka Woods is a Christian youth development organization that welcomes everyone to an experience for a lifetime. Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau, we specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages. We exist to inspire youth to shape their world.

Housing, room and meals are included

Just bring yourself, clothes, bedding, toiletries and we’ll take care of the rest. From staff accommodations, free wifi, three meals a day, and laundry services, we’ve got you covered.

Intentional Staff Development and Community Life

Seasonal staff will complete online training, participate in onsite training, and engage in ongoing leadership development throughout the course of your season. All staff are also paired with another, more experienced staff member you’ll meet with regularly to discuss work, life and whatever else is helpful to your stage of life.

You will have access to community life events, camp facilities, a staff gym, off site trips, and many fun activities. Muskoka Woods also offers a variety of mental health support through each season including Mind Up Training and free one to one professional counselling. A weekly church service and small groups are all a part of how we support and invest in our staff’s faith journeys.

Build Your Network to Help You Further Your Career
If you speak to a Muskoka Woods alumni about the network they built while on staff here, you’ll hear stories about being in each other’s weddings, being introduced to a great job and meeting people who became their life-long friends.
