Muskoka Woods is a Christian youth development organization that welcomes everyone to an experience for a lifetime. We are located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau and specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages. We exist to inspire youth to shape their world.
Job Description
The Hospitality team is all about providing excellent customer service so everyone - guests, staff, and visitors - feels taken care of. Staff provide top-notch service and keep things running smoothly by spotting the little details, jumping in when needed, and creating a clean and welcoming environment.
The Main Office is the hub of all information at Muskoka Woods. The Office staff deliver excellent customer service to both staff and guests, assisting administratively and actively problem solving. They are responsible for answering calls, assisting guests and staff at the front counter, managing the lost and found, escorting vehicles, and registering visitors and guests.
Staff are required to attend all meetings as outlined during staff training including Cadence and Small Group.
Skills and Attributes Required
Muskoka Woods is looking for staff whose personal values match the MW Core Values which includes having a passion for working with children and youth.
Applicants must have administrative skills, a strong work ethic, a heart for customer service, a positive demeanor, be able to take initiative and work well on a team.
Salary Range
$100 - $130 per week plus room and board
Full Summer Bonus
Each hospitality employee who commits their entire summer (with some exceptions for Classic) will qualify for a $300 bonus to be given at the end of the summer.
Contract Dates
June 20 - August 29, 2025
Essential Functions
- Have the physical strength and ability to lift and move small and large objects (ie. vacuum cleaner, garbage bags, boxes, and inventory)
- Work efficiently for 7-9 hours at a time
- Participate in work projects that involve lifting and carrying 10-30 lbs
- Be able to stoop, bend, and crouch
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both staff and guests

- Please note: All staff are required to uphold the Muskoka Woods Vision and Mission, Core Values and Aspirations, as well as all policies and procedures as outlined during our Staff Development Week held at the beginning of your contract.
- Please note: All Counsellors stay in a cabin with our guests. All other staff stay in shared staff accommodation.
- Please note: All Staff are required to live on property in Rosseau, Ontario for the duration of their contract.
