We are located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau and specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages. Job Description
The Support team makes up a variety of different positions that keep camp running smoothly. Whether it's supporting our ministry for guests and staff, providing excellent customer service and more, the Support team puts in the work behind the scenes.
The Health Care Centre Crew is a part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals consisting of the Healthcare Centre Manager, Director, a physician, and two registered nurses. Under the supervision and guidance of the HCC Manager and Director, the Health Care Centre crew provides emergency and daily health care to our staff and guests through scheduled clinics, on call support, and emergency response. They are responsible for handling triage and charting, assessments, administering medications, and keeping equipment clean and sterilized. They do night calls with a partner and will always work collaboratively with two registered nurses as well as assist the presiding MD as required.
Staff are required to attend all meetings as outlined during staff training including Cadence and Small Group.
Skills and Attributes Required
Muskoka Woods is looking for staff whose personal values match the MW Core Values which includes having a passion for working with children and youth.
HCC staff members must have general knowledge of nursing, CPR and first aid as well as be able to respond in emergencies and think under pressure. HCC staff members must also have the ability to represent Muskoka Woods well in communicating healthcare information to parents in a timely and appropriate manner. All applicants must be enrolled in a healthcare program related degree. Previous camp experience and a driver’s license preferred.
Salary Range
$185 - $215 per week plus room and board
Full Summer Bonus
Each support employee who commits their entire summer (with some exceptions for Classic) will qualify for a $300 bonus to be given at the end of the summer.
Contract Dates
June 20 - August 29, 2025
Essential Functions Required
- Be able to help guests and staff in emergencies
- Have the strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of guests and/or staff
- Work efficiently for 7-9 hours at a time
- Participate in work projects that involve lifting and carrying 10-30 lbs
- Have the ability to travel around camp with guests
- Communicate clearly and effectively with staff and guests

- Please note: All staff are required to uphold the Muskoka Woods Vision and Mission, Core Values and Aspirations, as well as all policies and procedures as outlined during our Staff Development Week held at the beginning of your contract.
- Please note: All Counsellors stay in a cabin with our guests. All other staff stay in shared staff accommodation.
- Please note: All Staff are required to live on property in Rosseau, Ontario for the duration of their contract.
