Job Description

The Support team makes up a variety of different positions that keep camp running smoothly. Whether it's supporting our ministry for guests and staff, providing excellent customer service and more, the Support team puts in the work behind the scenes.

The Guest Relations Summer Supervisor plays a key leadership role in creating a warm, positive, and seamless experience for our camp families. This position supports the Guest Relations team in ensuring that every interaction reflects Muskoka Woods’ commitment to excellence in customer service and care.
Working closely with the Guest Relations Specialists, the Summer Supervisor provides hands-on leadership through coaching, training, and daily support. They help the team manage parent inquiries and ensure that each family feels confident and cared for – from the moment they register to the day their child arrives at camp.
In this role, you’ll manage important aspects of the registration process, including payments, personal information, transportation details, and store accounts. You’ll also play an important part in guiding families through the registration and booking process – helping them choose the right program options, answering questions about availability, and assisting with upgrades or add-ons to enhance their child’s camp experience. Your goal is to make every interaction clear, positive, and confidence-building for parents while supporting the overall sales and enrollment goals of the camp.
In addition to their service responsibilities, the Guest Relations Summer Supervisor also plays a key role in understanding how families experience Muskoka Woods. They gather and review feedback through surveys, conversations, and focus groups, helping us see what’s working well and where we can improve. By sharing what they learn with our leadership and other teams, they help shape future plans and ensure we’re always enhancing the guest experience.
Ultimately, the Guest Relations Summer Supervisor helps families feel at ease knowing that their child’s summer camp experience is in caring and capable hands. By leading with empathy, clear communication, and attention to detail, this role ensures that Muskoka Woods continues to deliver life-changing experiences – not only for our guests, but for their parents too.
