Camp Store Staff
Muskoka Woods is a Christian youth development organization that welcomes everyone to an experience for a lifetime. We are located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau and specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages. We exist to inspire youth to shape their world.
The Hospitality department’s primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and hospitality to our guests and staff. Hospitality staff help to provide a seamless experience by serving the needs of the guests, noticing details, taking initiative to ensure staff and guests feel cared for, and creating a clean and inviting environment for all.
Our Camp Store is open to staff and guests on a daily basis selling snacks, drinks, coffee, clothing, and merchandise. The Camp Store staff member’s role is to provide excellent customer service and hospitality to all Camp Store and Coffee Can customers – staff and guests alike. The core responsibilities of the Camp Store Staff are receiving and stocking inventory, working the registers in the Camp Store, and preparing both ice cream and coffees, and working shifts in the Coffee Can. Camp Store Staff are also responsible in helping keep all Camp Store spaces and working areas clean and sanitized and properly remove and dispose of accumulated garbage. A typical shift is varied throughout the week 8:00am – 4:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 11:00am – 7:00pm and 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
Staff are required to attend all meetings as outlined during staff training including Cadence and Small Group.
This position has the opportunity to also transition into the Summer Office Leadership position in Summer 2023.

Muskoka Woods is looking for staff whose personal values match the MW Core Values which includes having a passion for working with children and youth.
Camp Store staff must have a strong work ethic, be attentive to details, be a team player and take initiative. Camp Store staff must have proficient math skills. Retail experience preferred.
$100 - $130 per week plus room and board
June 23 - September 1, 2023
- Have physical strength & ability to lift/move small and large objects (ie. vacuum cleaner, garbage bags, boxes, and inventory)
- Possess the ability to work for 7- 9 hours at a time
- Ability to participate in work projects – lifting and carrying between 10 – 30 lbs
- Be able to stoop, bend, and crouch
