Muskoka Woods is a Christian youth development organization that welcomes everyone to an experience for a lifetime. Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau, we specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages. We exist to inspire youth to shape their world.

Job Description

The Hospitality team is all about providing excellent customer service so everyone - guests, staff, and visitors - feels taken care of. Staff provide top-notch service and keep things running smoothly by spotting the little details, jumping in when needed, and creating a clean and welcoming environment.

The Camp Store staff’s main job is to deliver amazing customer service and hospitality to everyone who walks through the door, both staff and guests! With shifts in both the Camp Store and the Coffee Can, they are responsible for receiving and stocking inventory, working the register, and whipping up ice cream and coffee. They keep the store and work areas clean and organized, handling garbage disposal too. Shifts vary throughout the week and hours can look like: 8:00am – 4:00pm and 12:00pm – 8:00pm.

Staff are required to attend all meetings as outlined during staff training including Cadence and Small Group.

Skills and Attributes Required

Muskoka Woods is looking for staff whose personal values match the MW Core Values which includes having a passion for working with children and youth.

Camp Store staff must have a strong work ethic, be attentive to details, be a team player and take initiative. Camp Store staff must have proficient math skills. Retail experience preferred.

Salary Range

$100 - $130 per week plus room and board

Full Summer Bonus

Each hospitality employee who commits their entire summer will qualify for a $300 bonus to be given at the end of the summer. Exceptions will apply for high school students & first year post-secondary school for Staff Week & Classic.

Contract Dates

June 19 - September 4, 2026

Essential Functions

• Have the physical strength and ability to lift and move small and large objects (ie. vacuum cleaner, garbage bags, boxes, and inventory)
• Work efficiently for 7-9 hours at a time
• Participate in work projects that involve lifting and carrying 10-30 lbs
• Be able to stoop, bend, and crouch
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both staff and guests

Additional Notes

• All staff are required to uphold the Muskoka Woods Vision and Mission, Core Values and Aspirations, as well as all policies and procedures as outlined during our Staff Development Week held at the beginning of your contract.
• All Counsellors stay in a cabin with our guests. All other staff stay in shared staff accommodation.
• All Staff are required to live on property in Rosseau, Ontario for the duration of their contract.
