Kitchen – Dish Crew Supervisor
Muskoka Woods is a Christian youth development organization that welcomes everyone to an experience for a lifetime. We are located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau. We specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages.
The Hospitality department’s primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and hospitality to our guests and staff. Hospitality staff help to provide a seamless experience by serving the needs of the guests, noticing details, taking initiative to ensure staff and guests feel cared for, and creating a clean and inviting environment for all.
The primary role of the Dish Crew Supervisor within this department is to create a fun and productive environment for the Dish Crew and manage all outcomes related to cleaning dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen equipment. All Dish Crew are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen through sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, wiping down of surfaces, cleaning the dishwasher and sanitizing work stations. A typical shift for the Dish Supervisor is varied throughout the week (6:30am – 2:30pm, 11:30am – 7:30pm, 6:30am – 10:30am/4pm – 7:30pm).
Leadership staff are regularly assigned to the Night Watch schedule, the Dining Room Maitre'd schedule, to Super Saturday duties, are required to lead a staff small group, and conduct One 2 One's.
Staff are required to attend all meetings as outlined during staff training including Cadence and Small Group.

Kitchen Leadership applicants must have leadership experience, a customer service mindset, be attentive to detail, have a servant attitude, take initiative, and a strong work ethic. Applicants must also have the desire to work with young staff and to create a positive, encouraging and fun atmosphere. Experience working in a kitchen/food production environment is preferred but not required.
$185 - $215 per week plus room and board

- Have physical strength & ability to lift/move small and large objects (ie. vacuum cleaner, garbage bags, boxes, and inventory)
- Possess the ability to work for 7- 9 hours at a time
- Ability to participate in work projects – lifting and carrying between 10 – 30 lbs
- Be able to stoop, bend, and crouch
