Fall 2020 – Nanny

The Nanny's primary role within this department is to be a childcare giver and family manager for families who require assistance. The nanny’s role is to provide support to the family by serving as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion and caregiver to the children. Nannies are required to supervise, play, interact, and care for the children of their assigned families. Children range in age from newborn to 13 years of age. 2021 Staff Coach CORE

The primary role of the Staff Coach is to work alongside the Human Resources team to care for and minister to the staff individually and as a staff community. The Staff Coach is responsible to coordinate and execute staff experiences for personal, spiritual and social development. Activities include planning and organizing our weekly staff service (Cadence) including booking speakers and worship teams, leading a weekly Going Deeper bible study, speaking at Cadence and Staff Weeks, planning small groups and questions, matching one to one mentoring relationships amongst staff as well as spearheading social activities. The Staff Coach CORE also sit on the larger CORE team that champions our BELLS and leads community life here at Muskoka Woods. The CORE team are responsible to plan and participate in social events and community initiatives, come along side staff when needed in work and life, and are responsible to contribute to the overall training of staff in our Staff Development Weeks that are held throughout the year. 2021 Camp Store CORE

The primary role The Camp Store CORE, along side our full-time Camp Store Manager, is to provide excellent customer service to our staff and guests that includes training program staff, supervising shifts, reconciling tills, receiving and managing inventory, as well as daily cleaning and organizing of the store. The Camp Store CORE moves into a supervisory position in the summer that includes training, coaching and performance review of our young seasonal staff. Camp Store CORE also sit on the larger CORE team that champions our BELLS and leads community life here at Muskoka Woods. The CORE team are responsible to plan and participate in social events and community initiatives, come along side staff when needed in work and life, and are responsible to contribute to the overall training of staff in our Staff Development Weeks that are held throughout the year. 2021 Leadership Studio CORE

The primary role of the Leadership Studio Interns is to support our full-time Leadership Studio staff in leading and facilitating activities and providing program for our guests.  Interns are responsible to create and maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere in the Studio, provide excellent customer service to all guests, and assist with supervision and training of seasonal studio staff. Studio Interns regularily provide hospitality services in the Studio including food service, cleaning, dish washing, and firewood management. Leadership Studio CORE also sit on the larger CORE team that champions our BELLS and leads community life here at Muskoka Woods. The CORE team are responsible to plan and participate in social events and community initiatives, come along side staff when needed in work and life, and are responsible to contribute to the overall training of staff in our Staff Development Weeks that are held throughout the year. The primary role of the Production Assistant within this department is to work alongside the Production Coordinator/Technical Director and provide our guests with creative and professional production services through audio, video, lighting and set preparations. Weekly schedule requires day and evening work and schedule varies depending on our guest needs Production CORE also sit on the larger CORE team that champions our BELLS and leads community life here at Muskoka Woods. The primary role of the Program CORE - Arts & Athletics is to provide excellent instruction and customer service to our guests through the daily management of Muskoka Woods activities. Responsibilities include training, coaching, and performance review of staff, daily and weekly maintenance of all activity areas, active participation with guests in activities as well as managing equipment and inventory. Program CORE also sit on the larger CORE team that champions our BELLS and leads community life here at Muskoka Woods through planning and participating in social events and community initiatives, coming along side staff when needed in work and life, and are responsible to contribute to the overall training of staff in our Staff Development Weeks that are held throughout the year. 2021 Program CORE – Guest Relations

The primary role of the Program CORE - Guest Relations within this department is to support the daily and ongoing administrative functions required for an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities include general office duties, survey and data entry, preparing closing lists for evenings, internal communication support through Planning Centre, and administrative support to the Director of Schools & Groups. Program CORE also sit on the larger CORE team that champions our BELLS and leads community life here at Muskoka Woods. High Ropes Instructor Winter/Spring 2021

The primary role of a High Ropes Instructor is to instruct groups of 10 to 20 guests in a variety of high and low ropes elements, the Giant Swing and two Zipline activities. A typical schedule for Host Instructors is from 8am to 5pm daily with 1 to 2 evening shifts/week as a team to provide evening program, serve snack, cover the office and work in the Camp Store. read more
