Camp Store Staff
Our Camp Store is open to staff and guests on a daily basis selling snacks, drinks, coffee, clothing, and merchandise. The Camp Store staff member’s role is to provide excellent customer service and hospitality to all Camp Store and Coffee Can customers - staff and guests alike. The core responsibilities of the Camp Store Staff are receiving and stocking inventory, working the registers in the Camp Store, and preparing both ice cream and coffees, and working shifts in the Coffee Can. Camp Store Staff are also responsible in helping keep all Camp Store spaces and working areas clean and sanitized and properly remove and dispose of accumulated garbage. A typical shift is varied throughout the week 8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 11:00am - 7:00pm and 12:00pm - 8:00pm. read more
Kitchen – Food Prep
The primary role of the Food Prep staff within this department is to work alongside the Cooks in the daily preparation of all meals including preparing the yogurt and salad buffets. Tasks include but are not limited to: receiving inventory, chopping vegetables, panning food, slicing lunch meat, wrapping sandwiches, deep-frying, grilling and BBQ'ing. All Food Prep staff are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen through sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, washing dishes, wiping down of surfaces, and sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. A Chef's jacket will be provided for each shift. Grounds Crew
The primary role of the Grounds Crew within this department is to contribute to the maintenance and care of all accommodations, meeting areas, public spaces and grounds. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: mowing and trimming grass, sweeping, collecting garbage, moving firewood, moving equipment, and assisting the full time maintenance staff where needed. A typical shift for the Grounds Crew is varied throughout the week (7:00am - 3:00pm, 2:00pm to 10:00pm). Grounds Crew must provide their own steel-toed shoes. read more
Housekeeping Staff
The primary role of the Housekeeping Staff within this department is to create a clean and inviting environment for all staff and guests by contributing to the cleaning and care of accommodations, meeting areas, public spaces and restrooms. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, showers, sinks and toilets. A typical shift for the Housekeeping Staff is varied throughout the week. Kitchen Staff
The primary role of the Kitchen Staff within this department is to set up and manage the cold and hot buffets, juice machines, and coffee stations in each dining room as well as assisting with the washing and putting away of dishes. All Kitchen Staff are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining hall areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, wiping down of surfaces, sanitizing work stations, food prep areas and washing dishes. Office Staff
Our Resort office's primary role within this department is to be the hub of all information at Muskoka Woods. Office staff are responsible to provide excellent customer service, assist administratively and actively problem solve in order to best serve our guests and staff. Office staff are responsible for answering phones, serving guests and staff at the front counter, organizing and searching the lost and found, escorting vehicles and registering visitors and guests. read more
Producer – Large Group Experiences
Ministry Events are a special part of each night at Muskoka Woods, with WILD and Venture guests participating in Cabin Chat and Spark, and Junior High, Senior High and CREW guests in Conversation Cafe and Impact. During this time, staff and guests share on topics including Christian values, character and personal beliefs. These sessions create a safe space for listening, laughing and learning about values and morals through Bible stories, music, speakers and in other creative ways. Whatever the occasion, our conversations are age appropriate and respectful of all religions and beliefs. The Producer of Large Group Experiences' primary responsibility is to provide a professional and seamless experience with quality and creative ministry programming for our guests. This happens through: planning an "order of service", rehearsing, programming, managing "talent" and liaising with the Video and Production Coordinators who manage the audio, visual, lighting and set preparations for the guest ministry initiatives. The Producer will work closely with the Guest Communicators and other talented staff in their communication skills, delivery of content, as well as skits and presentations. They will work in coordination with the Production Manager to ensure a seamless delivery of content at the large and small group experiences. The large group experiences include: Spark, Impact, and Cadence with smaller group experiences being Convo Cafe and Cabin Chat. Producers are also required to assist in Super Saturday and are required to participate in our staff mentoring program and take on 4 to 6 One to One's. read more
Business Analyst
The primary role of the Business Analyst within this department is to provide quality customer service to our guests and staff by overseeing and administrating our Camp Store Card system and through supporting the Finance Department and team as required. read more
Guest Relations Transportation Coordinator
The primary role of the Guest Relations Transportation Coordinator is to provide excellent customer service to our guests and parents, specializing in coordinating transportation services, for a seamless experience before, during and after their child's week at camp. The tasks include, but are not limited to: organizing volunteers, communicating important information to guests, parents and staff about transportation, and assisting with issues as they arise on Saturdays & Sundays. The GRTC will assist in managing guest information and registration details including, but not limited to: payments, medical information, transportation and store account; and will be responsible for responding to incoming customer inquiries over phone, email and live chat. They will also assist the Guest Relations team with any special projects as they arise. The GRTC will track all customer interactions in our CRM database called Circuitree. read more
Guest Relations Specialist
The primary role of the Guest Relations Specialist is to provide excellent customer service to our guests and parents for a seamless experience before, during, and after their child's week at camp. The GRS will manage guest information and registration details including, but not limited to: payments, personal information, transportation, and store account; and will be responsible for responding to incoming customer inquiries over the phone, email, and live chat. In addition, this role is responsible for preparing and distributing summer reports. read more
