Guest Relations Assistant

The primary role of the Guest Relations Assistant within this department is to provide excellent customer service to our guests and parents for a seamless experience before, during, and after their child's week at camp. The GRA will manage guest information and registration details including: activity schedules, payments, medical information, transportation and store account, and will be responsible for responding to incoming customer inquires over phone, email and live chat. In addition, this role is responsible for preparing and distributing summer reports to various departments. GRA’s track all customer interactions in our CRM database called Circuitree. read more

Staff Coach – Community Life

Muskoka Woods believes that pouring into our staff and providing wholistic care for each person will result in an overflow of safety and care for our guests. To make that a reality, Muskoka Woods hires a team of Staff Coaches that are responsible to lead community initiatives, champion our BELLS and come along side staff as needed. The primary role of the Community Life Staff Coach is to coordinate all community life events such as Town Hang, Staff Snack, staff socials and other events. Staff Coaches are also responsible to support our community through leading large and small group events, conducting one to one’s, and supporting the overall staff team where necessary and bring insight to the overall well being of our community and staff. All Staff Coaches are required to attend team meetings, lead small groups, attend Soul House, support Cadence, drive for hospital runs, and conduct One to Ones. Leadership staff are regularly assigned to the Night Watch schedule, the Dining Room Maitre'd schedule, and to Super Saturday duties. read more

Staff Coaches are also responsible to support our community through leading large and small group events, conducting one to one’s, and supporting the overall staff team where necessary and bring insight to the overall well being of our community and staff. All Staff Coaches are required to attend team meetings, lead small groups, attend Soul House, support Cadence, drive for hospital runs, and conduct One to Ones. Exceptionality Counsellor

The Exceptionality Program Team is to assist, support, care for and ensure the needs of our exceptionality guests are met. Muskoka Woods has a variety of different guests and our goal is to create a safe, fun and confidence boosting environment for all. The role of the Exceptionality Program Counsellor within this department is to provide extra support to guests in the form of checks in and/or one to one support. Exceptionality Counsellors are responsible to ensure that guests needs are met and exceeded through care, participating in activities, and assisting guests with specific needs. Depending on enrolment, staff may be re-assigned to other duties as needed in the overall camp program. read more

Exceptionality Director

The Exceptionality Program Team is to assist, support, care for and ensure the needs of our exceptionality guests are met. Muskoka Woods has a variety of different guests and our goal is to create a safe, fun and confidence boosting environment for all. The primary role of the Exceptionality Director within this department is coordinating, supervising and and managing the outcomes for all things related to the Exceptionality Program. The Director leads, trains and manages staff, coordinates volunteer assignments, problem solves issues, liaises with parents and staff as needed to ensure the needs of each guest are met. read more

Assistant to the Summer Director

The primary role of the Assistant to the Summer Director within this department is to assist in all administrative tasks and projects as outlined by the Summer Camp Director. Tasks include but are not limited to: coordinating the Director’s schedule and meetings, administrating Emergency Procedure assignments, assigning, communicating and overseeing the Night Watch schedule and Security Team, organizing the guest/staff meal system, and facilitating Saturday announcements. Housekeeping Crew

The primary role of the Housekeeping Crew within this department is to create a clean and inviting environment for all staff and guests by contributing to the cleaning and care of all accommodations, meeting areas, public spaces and rest rooms. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, showers, sinks, toilets and floors. A typical shift for the Housekeeping Crew is varied throughout the week. (8am to 4pm, 8am to 2pm/6pm to 8pm) read more

Office Coordinator

Our Resort office's primary role within this department is to be the hub of all information at Muskoka Woods. The Office Coordinators primary responsibility is to assist the Office Supervisor on shift administratively, serve guests and staff at the front counter, account for all guests on property and answer phones. Office Coordinators are assigned and responsible for organizing and executing major office processes such as the laundry system and the lost and found system. read more
