Area Head – Gymnastics

The Area Head’s primary responsibility within this department is to create, oversee and execute activities for their assigned area(s) that are safe, fun, developmentally focused and age-appropriate. Area Heads provide leadership to the instructors in their area(s) including training, coaching and performance review. Area Heads are responsible to assist with equipment and facilities management, guest issues, and provide great customer service. A typical day within the Arts and Athletics department is to oversee activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. Daily meetings with your team as well as set up and clean up are required at the beginning and end of each day. read more

Instructor Gymnastics

The Gymnastics Instructor’s primary responsibility within this department is to provide activity instruction while creating a safe environment for our guests to learn and develop new skills, make new friends and have fun! Instructors are responsible to implement daily lesson plans in their assigned area through energetic participation and quality, intentional instruction. A typical day for an instructor is to oversee activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. Daily team meetings and set up and clean up are required at the beginning and end of each day. Instructors will help operate the Stayover Program for guests staying multiple weeks by leading and staying in a guest cabin, running activities and will be assigned to a cleaning team. Instructors are also responsible to assist in evening programs where assigned and participate in assigned duties on Sunday Arrival. read more

The Ropes Instructor’s primary responsibility within this department is to provide activity instruction while creating a safe environment for our guests to learn and develop new skills, make new friends and have fun! Instructor Target Sports

The Target Sports Instructor’s primary responsibility within this department is to provide activity instruction while creating a safe environment for our guests to learn and develop new skills, make new friends and have fun! Instructors are responsible to implement daily lesson plans in their assigned area including Archery, Marksmanship and Axe Throwing, through energetic participation and quality, intentional instruction. A typical day for an instructor is to oversee activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. Daily team meetings and set up and clean up are required at the beginning and end of each day. Instructors will help operate the Stayover Program for guests staying multiple weeks by leading and staying in a guest cabin, running activities and will be assigned to a cleaning team. Instructor Windsurfing/Stand up Paddle Boarding

The Windsurfing/SUP Instructor’s primary responsibility within this department is to provide activity instruction while creating a safe environment for our guests to learn and develop new skills, make new friends and have fun! Instructors are responsible to implement daily lesson plans in their assigned area through energetic participation and quality, intentional instruction. A typical day for an instructor is to oversee activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. Daily team meetings and set up and clean up are required at the beginning and end of each day. Camp Store Supervisor

"Our Camp Store is open to staff and guests on a daily basis selling snacks, drinks, coffee, clothing, and merchandise. The primary role of Camp Store Supervisor, alongside our full-time Camp Store Manager, is to create a fun and productive environment for our young staff while providing excellent customer service to our staff and guests. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading and managing staff, supervising shifts, reconciling tills, receiving and managing inventory, cleaning and organizing the store and working along with the staff. A typical shift is varied throughout the week 8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 10:00am - 6:00pm and 12:00pm - 8:00pm. Leadership staff are regularly assigned to the Night Watch schedule, the Dining Room Maitre'd schedule, are required to lead a staff small group, and conduct One 2 One's. read more

Kitchen – Service Supervisor

The primary role of the Kitchen Service Supervisor within this department is to assist the Dining Hall Manager in all things related to leading staff, managing outcomes and serving guests. The Kitchen Service Supervisor oversees the Kitchen Service staff and are responsible to create a fun and productive team environment for our young staff while providing a quality and customer friendly dining experience for all staff and guests. All Kitchen staff are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining hall areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, wiping down of surfaces, sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. May also be required to assist in the dish crew area. Aprons will be provided for each shift. A typical shift for the Kitchen Supervisor is varied throughout the week (Breakfast/Lunch 6:00am - 2:30pm, Lunch/Dinner 11:00am - 7:30pm, Breakfast/Dinner 6:00am - 10:30am & 4:00pm - 7:30pm) read more

Office Supervisor

Our Resort office's primary role within this department is to be the hub of all information at Muskoka Woods. The Office Supervisor's primary responsibility, along side the full-time Office Manager, is to create a fun and productive environment for our young staff while providing excellent customer service and responding to the needs of our parents, staff and guests on the phone, through email and at the front counter. The Office Supervisor oversees the office functions and processes, proactively manages outcomes, supervises shifts, answers phones and emails, accounts for all guests on property, solves issues, works closely with other departments, and accurately communicates information. read more

Office Coordinator

Our Resort office's primary role within this department is to be the hub of all information at Muskoka Woods. The Office Coordinators primary responsibility is to assist the Office Supervisor on shift administratively, serve guests and staff at the front counter, account for all guests on property and answer phones. Office Coordinators are assigned and responsible for organizing and executing major office processes such as the laundry system and the lost and found system. read more

Kitchen – Baker

The primary role of the Baking Crew within this department, working alongside the full-time Baker, is the daily preparation of all baked goods, desserts and evening snacks. Tasks include but are not limited to: preparing and baking brownies, cookies, cakes, cheesecakes and apple crumble, icing cupcakes, cutting Rice Krispies squares, panning croissants, danishes and cinnamon buns, All Baking Crew are also required to contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen through sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, washing dishes, wiping down of surfaces, and sanitizing work stations and food prep areas. A Chef's jacket will be provided for each shift. A typical shift for the Baking Crew is varied throughout the week (7:00am - 3:00pm, 5:00am - 1:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm) read more
