Health Care Centre Administrator

The Health Care Centre Administrator becomes part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals consisting of HCC Managers, physician, two registered nurses and a team of seasonal health care centre staff. Under the supervision and direction of the HCC Managers, the Administrator will be responsible for managing the information database and running the HCC clinic in a professional manner including processing patients, printing charts, inputting information, ordering medications and supporting the team where needed. read more

Health Care Centre Crew

The Health Care Centre Crew becomes part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals consisting of HCC Managers, physician and two registered nurses. Under the supervision and direction of the HCC Managers, the Health Care Centre staff’s primary role within this department is to provide emergency and daily health care to our staff and guests through scheduled clinics, on call support and emergency response. Staff are responsible for communicating with parents, triage, charting, assessment, administration of medications, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, night call with a partner as well as assessment and assisting the presiding MD as required. read more

Health Care Centre Driver

Under the supervision and direction of the HCC Managers, the Health Care Centre Driver is responsible to drive a camp vehicle for scheduled medical appointments for staff and guests, for emergency hospital runs, and run errands as assigned. read more

Production Crew – Operations

The primary role of the Production Crew within this department is to assist in providing quality and creative programming by delivering a professional and seamless experience through audio, visual, lighting and set preparations. The Production Crew supports all production needs for Cadence, Impact, Spark, evening activities, Cabin Chat, Conversation Cafe and other events as required. Production Operations staff are responsible to support all audio, visual, lighting and set-up needs of their assigned section including moving, lifting, set up and takedown of staging (stages, tarps, tables, tents etc.) and equipment. (speakers, microphones, lights etc.) A typical schedule in Production is varied throughout the week depending on the program needs of each day and week that includes daytime and evening work. read more

Security

The primary role of the Security staff within this department is to monitor the premises and ensure a safe and secure facility from early evening until early morning. Security staff ensures that all staff and guests adhere to outlined camp curfews through patrolling the campus, monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees and visitors throughout the evening. Security staff are also required to write reports and daily activities, irregularities, or unusual occurrences including reporting on staff and guests not abiding by resort rules. Security Staff are assigned to the Maitre 'd schedule as well as holding opening day responsibilities. read more

Timbergrove Lodge Host

Timbergrove Lodge has the privilege of hosting our partner groups, supported by the Foundation, throughout the summer. Timbergrove Lodge guests enjoy a daily hosted activity schedule as well as special evening events planned just for them including tubing, ropes course activities and campfires. Timbergrove Lodge Staff create an experience for the guests that builds confidence, friendships, memories and of course to have fun! The TGL Host Instructors are responsible to journey with the group throughout the week by fostering safety, leading activities, participating in events, developing relationships and capturing stories. read more

Videographer

The primary role of the Videographer is to plan, shoot and edit videos developed for Cadence, Spark, Impact, Conversation Cafe and other special projects. A typical schedule for the Videographer is varied throughout the week depending on the video needs of each day and week that includes daytime and evening work. read more

Camp Photographer

The primary role of a Camp Photographer is to capture authentic moments of children having fun at camp through activities, laughing and playing with friends. We also are sure to include guests enjoying evening programs for parents to view at home. Responsibilities include: using a Camp DSL camera to take 300-400 photos of guests per day during activities and evening programs, reviewing and uploading photos to the online photo gallery within the Camp app, ensuring all safety and brand guidelines are followed, and checking the photo list daily to ensure photos are taken of each child. Additional responsibilities may include: assisting in creating content for social media via photos and videos, attending daily and weekly team meetings, and other tasks as assigned. read more

Counsellor – CEO

The CEO Counsellor's primary responsibiltiy within this department is to journey alongside the guests as they walk through and experience our 4 week long CEO leadership program. Counsellors live in the CEO Lodge with the guests, eat all meals with the group and are also responsible for meeting with their guests one to one, planning and participating in evening programs, and facilitating small group Convo Cafe conversations. In this role you would spend a larger amount of time with your guests than any other counselling role at MW as you journey with the guests over the course of the program. read more

Counsellor – CREW

A CREW Counsellor’s primary responsibility within this department is the safety of our guests ages 15 - 16 years old. Counsellors also provide a caring and supportive cabin environment to learn, reflect, make new friends and of course have FUN! Counsellors stay in cabins with the guests, eat all meals with their cabin group, participate in evening programs as well as facilitate small group Convo Cafe conversations with the guests in their cabin. Counsellors are also required to instruct a skill area for 1 period per day - this is called Switch Em Up. Important Note - Counsellors may be moved to other age sections throughout the summer due to customer demand. This will be determined week to week and is up to the discretion of the Manager of Summer Programs. read more
