Host Instructor – Timbergrove Lodge

Timbergrove Lodge has the privilege of hosting our partner groups, supported by the Muskoka Woods Youth Foundation, throughout the summer. TGL Host Instructors are responsible for leading fun and safe activities that help our Timbergrove Lodge guests learn new skills, grow friendships, and have an awesome time! They bring energy and enthusiasm to the daily routine, making sure everyone has a blast while learning something new. TGL Hosts are key to making the experience unforgettable. They journey with the group all week, fostering safety, leading activities, joining in on events, building friendships and capturing stories. Heads up: TGL Host Instructors join in on the fun during the TGL evening program once per week! It’s a great opportunity to hang out, participate in the Crew or SH Program, relax by the campfire, or get into a lively game of volleyball or basketball. read more

MWYF Project Coordinator

The Muskoka Woods Youth Foundation Project Coordinator helps support Muskoka Woods' goal of giving ALL kids an opportunity to attend Summer Camp. This role has the privilege of hosting our partner groups in Timbergrove Lodge and Jan's Place, along with other projects and events supported by the Foundation, throughout the summer. The MWYF Project Coordinator’s primary responsibility within this team is all things related to managing outcomes, serving guests and leading staff including training, coaching and performance review. The Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for all Timbergrove Lodge Groups and Jan's Place families prior to and during their time at Muskoka Woods, including managing health forms and police checks, liaising with the other departments, gathering stories, assigning staff and hosting activities. read more

Guest Relations Summer Supervisor

The Guest Relations Summer Supervisor is in charge of assisting in overseeing the Guest Relations team, ensuring that things run smoothly and Muskoka Woods customer service standards are met. They will lead and support the Guest Relations Specialists, providing training, support, and feedback. Along with participating in and contributing to weekly meetings, the Guest Relations Summer Supervisor will provide high quality service to our guests and their parents, making sure everything runs smoothly before, during, and after their time at camp. They will manage guest information and registration details, including payments, personal information, and store accounts. Supervisors may also be required to assist with the weekly preparation and execution of our transportation services. Acting as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, they will address questions and resolve issues via phone, email, and live chat. Additionally, they will track all customer interactions and maintain accurate records in our CRM database, Circuitree, while assisting with special projects as needed to support both summer and full-time team members. read more

Guest Relations Specialists are dedicated to providing high-quality service to our guests and their families, ensuring that everything runs smoothly before, during, and after their time at camp. In this role, you will manage guest information and registration details, including payments, personal information, transportation, and store accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for answering questions and resolving issues, utilizing phone, email, and live chat for communication. Additionally, this position involves preparing and distributing summer reports. Specialists may also be required to assist with the weekly preparation and execution of our transportation services. read more

Producer – Large Group Experiences

Ministry Events are a special part of each night at Muskoka Woods, with WILD and Venture guests participating in Cabin Chat and Spark, and Junior High, Senior High and CREW guests in Conversation Cafe and Impact. During this time, staff and guests share on topics including Christian values, character and personal beliefs. These sessions create a safe space for listening, laughing and learning about values and morals through Bible stories, music, speakers and in other creative ways. Whatever the occasion, our conversations are age appropriate and respectful of all religions and beliefs. The Producer of Large Group Experiences is the mastermind behind creating engaging and memorable experiences for our guests, planning and executing seamless events that showcase our creative ministry programming. This happens through: planning an "order of service", rehearsing, programming, managing "talent" and liaising with the Video and Production Coordinators who manage the audio, visual, lighting and set preparations for the guest ministry initiatives. The Producer will work closely with the Staff Coach Guest Communicators and other talented staff in their communication skills, delivery of content, as well as skits and presentations. They will work in coordination with the Production Manager to ensure a seamless delivery of content at the large and small group experiences. Large group experiences include: Spark, Impact, Friday Finale, Opening Day Show and Cadence. Smaller group experiences include: Convo Cafe and Cabin Chat. Producers are also required to be part of Super Sunday and engage in our staff mentoring program, taking on 4-6 One to One's. read more

Assistant to Production Manager

The Assistant to the Production Manager plays a key role in supporting the fast-paced and ever-changing world of audio/visual at Muskoka Woods. This position is instrumental in supporting the Administrative side of the Production team with projects and tasks outlined by the Production Manager. Tasks will include but are not limited to: coordinating the Production Manager's schedule, supporting the Production team and producer's needs, supporting with Bunk 1, engaging with other Support team members, organizing weekly meetings with Production and Support, and managing Support team gatherings. read more

Production Crew – Operations

The Production Crew is essential in delivering events that are seamless and professional. They are responsible for audio, visual, lighting and set preparations, making sure everything looks and sounds good. They help out with all production needs for Cadence, Impact, Spark, evening activities, Cabin Chat, Convo Cafe, and other events as needed. In order to support all audio, visual, lighting and set-up needs of their assigned areas, they move, lift, set up and takedown staging (stages, tarps, tables, tents, etc.) and equipment (speakers, microphones, lights, etc.). Their schedule varies through the week based on event needs including both daytime and evening shifts. read more

Staff Coach – Administrator

Muskoka Woods believes that pouring into our staff and providing holistic care for each person will result in an overflow of safety and care for our guests. To make that a reality, Muskoka Woods hires a team of Staff Coaches who are responsible for leading community initiatives, they champion ministry to staff and come alongside others as needed. The Staff Coach Administrator is responsible for coordinating and assigning all staff One to Ones as well as Small Groups and overseeing the master scheduling of events and meetings. Staff Coaches are also responsible to support our community through leading large and small group events, conducting one to one’s, supporting the overall staff team where necessary and to bring insight to the overall well being of our community and staff. All Staff Coaches are required to attend team meetings, lead small groups, attend Soul House, support Cadence, drive for hospital runs, and conduct One to Ones. read more

Staff Coach – Guest Communicator Coordinator

The Staff Coach Guest Communicator Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership to the Staff Coach Guest Communicators as well as speaking at Convo Cafe, Cabin Chat, Spark, and Impact. This will be done through training, supporting, and developing their communication skills and delivery of given content and curriculum. They will work in coordination with both the Production Team and the Staff Coach team to provide a Muskoka Woods Signature experience. They ensure a seamless delivery of content at Large Group Experiences which include Spark, Impact, Convo Cafe and Cabin Chat. The Guest Communicator Coordinator will provide support to their team by leading weekly meetings as a group and meeting individually with the Guest Communicators regularly. They will also be required to attend weekly meetings with the Ministry Team, assist in Super Sunday and are assigned 4 to 6 One-to-One’s. read more
