Spring 2026 – Activity Instructor
Activity Instructors are responsible for leading guests in a range of awesome sports, adventure activities, arts, nature explorations, and team-building programs. They are trained in up to 25 different activities which they instruct to our guests at Muskoka Woods. A day in the life looks like running activities and programs for groups of 10 to 20 kids at a time. They will often travel with an assigned group, or specialize in one area based on the group's needs. Work hours are typically from 8am to 5pm with 1 to 2 evening shifts each week to help run evening programs, serve snack, cover the office, assist in the Camp Store, help out with dish shifts and do occasional work projects to keep everything running smoothly! read more

Counsellor – WILD – Boys Cabins
A WILD Counsellor's job is to keep our 6 to 8 year old guests safe and help them have a great week at camp. This means creating a fun and supportive space in the cabin for them to learn, grow, and make new friends. Counsellors live in cabins with our guests, eat meals together, and participate in evening activities. They also lead small group chats during Convo Cafe each night. All counsellors are required to instruct in a skill area for one period each day - this is called "Switch Em Up". Heads up: counsellors may be moved to other age sections throughout the summer based on our needs for the week. This will be up to the discretion of the Summer Program Manager. read more

A Senior High Counsellor's job is to keep our 13 to 14 year old guests safe and help them have a great week at camp. This means creating a fun and supportive space in the cabin for them to learn, grow, and make new friends. Counsellor – CEO
A CEO Counsellor's role is to journey alongside our CEO guests as they walk through and experience our 4 week long leadership program. Counsellors live in the CEO Lodge with the guests and eat all meals with the group. They are also responsible for meeting with their guests one to one, planning and participating in evening programs, and facilitating small group Convo Café conversations. This role is all about building deep connections, so you’ll spend more time with your guests than any other counselling role at Muskoka Woods. Ideally, CEO Counsellors will be available during the following year to attend follow up events. read more
Counsellor – Exceptionality
At Muskoka Woods, we welcome a diverse range of guests and strive to create a safe, fun environment that builds confidence. The Exceptionality Program allows children and youth with special needs (including Autism Spectrum Disorder) to experience camp with the support they need for a successful week. We provide tailored assistance for each child’s physical, intellectual, social, or behavioural needs and integrate them into camp programming to the extent possible and appropriate, with guidance from our exceptionalities team. The job of an Exceptionality Counsellor is to support and connect with our exceptionality guests. Exceptionality Counsellors provide care to assigned guests through check-ins and one-on-one support, ensuring our guests' needs are not just met, but exceeded. That means being actively involved in their day - joining in on activities, offering encouragement, and lending a hand to our guests for their specific needs. Depending on the number of exceptionality guests on site, they may also be asked to help with other camp responsibilities which changes their weekly schedule. Fall 2026 – Production Operations
Production Staff work alongside the Production Coordinator and Production Leadership to deliver excellent production services for our guests. They support all audio, visual, lighting, and set-up needs to make every event shine. They are responsible for moving and lifting equipment, handling the set-up and takedown of staging (stages, tarps, tables, tents, etc.) and gear (speakers, microphones, lights). A typical schedule will include a mix of daytime and evening shifts depending on our guests' needs, so flexibility is key! read more
