Spring 2026 – Activity Instructor

Activity Instructors are responsible for leading guests in a range of awesome sports, adventure activities, arts, nature explorations, and team-building programs. They are trained in up to 25 different activities which they instruct to our guests at Muskoka Woods. A day in the life looks like running activities and programs for groups of 10 to 20 kids at a time. They will often travel with an assigned group, or specialize in one area based on the group's needs. Work hours are typically from 8am to 5pm with 1 to 2 evening shifts each week to help run evening programs, serve snack, cover the office, assist in the Camp Store, help out with dish shifts and do occasional work projects to keep everything running smoothly! read more

Arts & Athletic Director

Arts & Athletic Directors are responsible for overseeing their assigned activity areas while championing our Customer Service standards of Safety, Detail, Sizzle and Development. They lead their Area Heads, providing training, coaching, and feedback. Arts & Athletic Directors are responsible for tasks including guidebook creation/updating, planning activities, managing equipment and facilities, sorting staff issues, and problem solving issues that come up throughout the day. Arts & Athletics Directors lead and participate in daily and weekly meetings and support the team as required. read more

Arts & Athletics Director – Administrator

Arts & Athletic Directors are responsible for overseeing their assigned activity areas while championing our Customer Service standards of Safety, Detail, Sizzle and Development. The Administrator will specifically handle financial, medical, and logistical administration for Arts & Athletics. They lead their Area Heads, providing training, coaching, and feedback alongside their administrative tasks. This Director's day-to-day includes planning activities, managing equipment and facilities, sorting staff issues, and problem solving issues that come up throughout the day. Area Head – Arts

Area Heads are in charge of overseeing the activities in their area, making sure it is safe, fun, and a space where guests can develop their skills! The Arts Area Head oversees Arts & Crafts, Creative Arts, Screen Printing, Photography, and Coding (activities subject to change). They lead and support their team of instructors, handling training, coaching, and providing feedback. They are responsible for managing all equipment for their area, writing and updating lesson plans, dealing with guest issues, and of course providing top notch customer service. A day in the life looks like running activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm, with daily team meetings and setup/cleanup at the start and end of each day. Heads up: Area Heads will be responsible for helping lead and execute our weekend stayover program. This will include overseeing instructors at activities, work projects and helping to lead evening program. Area Heads will also be assigned to be a Transportation Bus Captain at least once throughout the summer. read more

Area Head – Boathouse

Area Heads are in charge of overseeing the activities in their area, making sure it is safe, fun, and a space where guests can develop their skills! The Boathouse Area Head's assigned activities are as follows: Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, and Tubing. They lead and support their team of instructors, handling training, coaching, and providing feedback. read more

Area Head – Swim Beach

Area Heads are in charge of overseeing the activities in their area, making sure it is safe, fun, and a space where guests can develop their skills! The Swim Beach Area Head is responsible for all swimming activities at the swim beach including weekly swim tests, free swim, the Wibit and the Blob. They lead and support their team of lifeguards, handling training, coaching, and providing feedback. They are responsible for managing all equipment for their area, writing and updating lesson plans, dealing with guest issues, and of course providing top notch customer service. A day in the life looks like shifts between 9am to 7pm to cover the activity hours as well as the Wibit Pass over lunch and dinner, with daily team meetings and setup/cleanup at the start and end of each day. Heads up: Area Heads will be responsible for helping lead and execute our weekend stayover program. This will include overseeing instructors at activities, work projects and helping to lead evening program. Area Heads will also be assigned to be a Transportation Bus Captain at least once throughout the summer. read more

Area Head – Culinary Arts

Area Heads are in charge of overseeing the activities in their area, making sure it is safe, fun, and a space where guests can develop their skills! The Culinary Arts Area Head's assigned areas are as follows: Baking, Cake Decorating, and Culinary. They lead and support their team of instructors, handling training, coaching, and providing feedback. They are responsible for managing all equipment for their area, writing and updating lesson plans, dealing with guest issues, and of course providing top notch customer service. A day in the life looks like running activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm, with daily team meetings and setup/cleanup at the start and end of each day. The General Area Head's assigned areas are likely to include: Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Flag Rugby, Soccer, Skate/Skoot/Drift, Outdoor Adventure, Golf, Ball Hockey and Cricket (activities subject to change). They lead and support their team of instructors, handling training, coaching, and providing feedback. They are responsible for managing all equipment for their area, writing and updating lesson plans, dealing with guest issues, and of course providing top notch customer service. A day in the life looks like running activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm, with daily team meetings and setup/cleanup at the start and end of each day. Area Head – Host Instructors

Area Heads are in charge of overseeing the activities in their area, making sure it is safe, fun, and a space where guests can develop their skills! The Host Area Head is responsible for overseeing the Host Instructors who travel around with a group of WILD guests to a variety of activities. They ensure their staff are trained in all activity areas and can create a fun atmosphere while travelling from one activity to the next. The Host Area Head also works closely with the Program Leadership for WILD to guarantee a seamless experience for the guests. They lead and support their team of host instructors, handling training, coaching, and providing feedback. They are responsible for managing all equipment for their area, writing and updating lesson plans, dealing with guest issues, and of course providing top notch customer service. A day in the life looks like running activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm, with daily team meetings and setup/cleanup at the start and end of each day.
