Experience FOR a Lifetime

Since 1979, Muskoka Woods has welcomed everyone to an experience for a lifetime. At Muskoka Woods, we believe that fun plus reflection equals confidence. Unlimited fun is delivered through our dedicated staff, top-notch facilities and 50+ activities. By encouraging youth to reflect and draw deeper meaning from fun experiences, we give them the confidence to shape their world.

Muskoka Woods is a Christian youth development organization that welcomes everyone to an experience for a lifetime. Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rosseau, we specialize in summer camp, school trips, group retreats and leadership development for all ages. We exist to inspire youth to shape their world.

Muskoka Woods offers a fun, safe and welcoming environment for all youth. At the heart of this offering are staff that share a common desire to help young people realize their full potential. We are committed to making fun experiences the foundation for building new friendships and self-confidence. Our staff make this possible by fostering a sense of community and encouraging youth to reflect on their experiences in order to draw life lessons from them.

Great counsellors and staff make Muskoka Woods a safe, fun summer camp experience your child will want to return to year after year. Our on-site staff to guest ratio is 2:4, one of the highest supervision rates in North America. Each year, we hire some of the best and brightest young adults from around the world, many of whom attended Muskoka Woods as guests themselves.

Our summer staff receive seven days of training before camp begins. Staff training includes: certification in Occupational Health & Safety, emergency preparedness & procedure, customer service standards, youth culture & development, insights from child protection experts and specific, hands-on training for each section at camp. The Muskoka Woods hiring team has received Praesidium training, the global leader in Child Risk Management. We have also partnered with Plan to Protect, the Canadian experts in child abuse prevention and child protection.

Muskoka Woods offers a perfect mix of untouched nature, modern buildings, and state-of-the-art athletic facilities. In addition to cabins, dining halls and meeting rooms, guests enjoy a finely crafted, purpose-built Leadership Studio, concert hall, and boathouse. With more than 50 exceptional activities to choose from, summer guests get to customize a summer camp experience that will take them to new levels of creativity, friendship and confidence.

All I can say is that my daughter LOVED her week at camp. The grounds, the food, the accommodations, the activities are absolutely first rate! I would like to especially mention how wonderful your staff is. I was absolutely blown away by the friendly, helpful and organized team that met me when I picked up my daughter on Saturday.
