Maintenance Staff Spring 2022

The primary role of the Maintenance Staff is to contribute to the maintenance and care of all accommodations, meeting areas, public spaces and grounds. Counsellor – Senior High

A Senior High Counsellor’s primary responsibility within this department is the safety of our guests ages 13 - 14 years old. Counsellors also provide a caring and supportive cabin environment to learn, reflect, make new friends and of course have FUN! Counsellors stay in cabins with the guests, eat all meals with their cabin group, participate in evening programs as well as facilitate small group Convo Cafe conversations with the guests in their cabin. Each Senior High Counsellor is also expected to help instruct in 1 to 2 hours of assigned Arts & Athletics activities per day. Important Note - Counsellors may be moved to other age sections throughout the summer due to customer demand. This will be determined week to week and is up to the discretion of the Manager of Summer Programs. read more

Instructor Wake Sports

The Wake Sports Instructor’s primary responsibility within this department is to provide activity instruction while creating a safe environment for our guests to learn and develop new skills, make new friends and have fun! Instructors are responsible to implement daily lesson plans in their assigned areas, including Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, Kneeboarding, Tubing, Kids on the Water and Fishing, through energetic participation and quality, intentional instruction. A typical day for an instructor is to oversee activities from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm. Daily team meetings and set up and clean up are required at the beginning and end of each day. Instructors will help operate the Stayover Program for guests staying multiple weeks by leading and staying in a guest cabin, running activities and will be assigned to a cleaning team. Instructors are also responsible to assist in evening programs where assigned and participate in assigned duties on Sunday Arrival. read more
